Picayune On Stage Presents Dinner Theater at Hide-A-Way Lake
Picayune On Stage returns to Hide-A-Way Lake on Friday, January 27 and Saturday, January 28 with a dinner theater that you don’t want to miss. Many of your favorite POS actors are present in this fun-filled comedy under the direction of Gladys Hughes. “Saving Grace,” by Jack Sharkey, is sure to cure your winter time blues.
“Saving Grace” is a about a young woman named Grace whose boss would like to have her go to Hawaii with him for an insurance meeting. He even goes so far as to give her a gift of a grass skirt and other pieces of clothing fitting for the trip. Grace is reluctant to go on such an outing. Many complications occur, such as a stranger coming into her apartment through the window, the untimely arrival of her older sister, and the appearance of Gregor Vanitzky, a traveling evangelist.
Plan to come and support your local celebrities as they present another night of entertainment for your pleasure. The cast includes: Shannon Catoire as Grace; Paul Page as Walter; Nicholaus Chatelain as Alex; Bonnie Hughes as Harriet; and Link D’Antoni as Gregor Vanitzky.
Tickets for the dinner and play are $33.30 which includes the tax and gratuity. The doors open at 6:00, dinner begins at 6:30, and the play begins at 8:00. The dinner includes Caesar salad, hamburger steak topped with grilled onions and mushrooms, and brown gravy joined by mashed potatoes and candied carrots, followed up by dessert.
